Privacy Policy

Veliqid ("we", "us", or "our") provides smart NFC business cards and a linked digital profile that lets you share your contact information, links, and social profiles with a tap or scan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or using Veliqid, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Account information. your name, email address, phone number, and password when you sign up or log in.

Profile content. your bio, profile photo, links, social media handles, and any design or customization choices you make for your card and profile.

Order and shipping information. your delivery name, address, phone number, and card design (front and back images) when you order a physical card.

Payment information. payments are processed by Paystack. We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, or bank details. Paystack handles this directly and shares only confirmation and transaction details with us.

Usage data. information about how you interact with your dashboard, and basic activity on your public profile, such as the number of profile views and link clicks, so you can see how visitors engage with your card.

To create and operate your account, digital profile, and public profile page.

To manufacture, personalize, and ship your physical NFC card, including calculating shipping cost and delivery estimates through our delivery partner.

To process payments and send order confirmations, receipts, and status updates.

To show you analytics about your own profile, such as link clicks and visits.

To communicate with you about your account, orders, or changes to our services.

To maintain the security of our platform and prevent misuse.

We work with trusted third parties to provide Veliqid, including:

• Paystack: for secure payment processing.

• Cloudinary: for hosting profile photos, card artwork, and uploaded images.

• Fez (or another shipping partner): for delivery quotes, tracking, and fulfilment of physical cards, which requires sharing your shipping name, address, and phone number.

• Our email delivery provider: for sending verification codes, password resets, and order emails to your email address.

• WhatsApp: if you switch on the WhatsApp button, visitors who tap it are taken to a chat with you in WhatsApp. That chat happens in WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy, and Veliqid does not receive or store those messages.

These providers receive only the information they need to perform their service, and they handle it under their own privacy policies.

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember in-progress card designs, so you don't lose your work if you navigate away. We do not use this storage to track you across other websites.

Your Veliqid profile page (veliqid.com/yourusername) is public by design. Anyone with the link, or anyone who taps or scans your card, can view the information you choose to display, such as your name, bio, links, and social icons. Only add information to your profile that you're comfortable sharing publicly.

Contact buttons. if you switch on the Save contact button, your email address and phone number are shown to anyone who opens your profile, and they can save them to their phone. If you switch on the WhatsApp button, your WhatsApp number is shown to anyone who opens your profile. Both buttons are off by default, and you can turn them off at any time from your design settings, after which the details are no longer shown on your profile.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the third-party service providers described above, and where required to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Veliqid, our users, or others.

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and continuously review our practices.

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You can review and update your profile information, design, and social links at any time from your dashboard.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us using the details below.

You can delete your account from your settings. This removes your public profile, so your card will no longer show your details. We may keep order and payment records where we need them for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.

Veliqid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
